Wi Ha Joon & Ji Chang Wook Go Head-to-Head In the Korean Crime Drama "The Worst of Evil"



The Korean crime series The Worst of Evil will debut on Disney+ on September 27. It includes a star-studded cast, including Ji Chang Wook from Backstreet Rookie, Wi Ha Joon from the hit show Squid Game, and Lim Se Mi from My Secret, Terrius. The enthralling story follows an undercover police officer as he infiltrates a notorious gang responsible for the distribution of a potent new recreational drug in Seoul's underworld.

A former DJ turned gang boss named Jung Gi Cheul (Wi Ha Joon) introduces the city to the highly addictive Gangnam Crystal narcotic in the 1990s Seoul setting of the film. A rural police officer named Park Jun Mo (Ji Chang Wook) is sent to an undercover police team with the goal of eliminating the gang from inside. The situation becomes further when he learns that his wife, fellow cop Yu Eui Jeong (Lim Se Mi), has also accepted the risky job, suggesting a previously unrevealed relationship between the drug lord and the couple.

The drama series The Worst of Evil, which is being directed by Man in Love director Han Dong Wook and written by Secret Union and Maundy Thursday creator Jang Min Seok, promises to be dramatic and emotionally packed! The 12-episode series will begin with a three-episode premiere, then release two episodes on a weekly basis until the suspenseful three-episode conclusion. The Worst of Evil joins the ranks of other enthralling episodes like Big Bet and Big Mouth, bringing users a variety of top-notch entertainment, as Disney+ continues to add more Korean series to its library.
