Synopsis
Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won Witch at Court 2018) worked as a Korean language teacher for the past 14 years at a private academy (hagwon) in the most prestigious and most competitive private education in the neighborhood of Gangnam. At the same time, her ex-student who is ten years younger, Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon Gyeongseong Creature 2023-2024), starts working at the same private educational academy as she does. Why we're watching
It is refreshing to see Wi Ha Joon in a romantic comedy given his past several dramas he's been fighting off monsters and getting the police off his back. The plot is simple enough: the teacher falls in love with her ex-student now her co-worker and romance is in the air. Jung Ryeo Won, on the other hand, has been spending time in the same roles as a prosecutor in her past several dramas so it'll be exciting to see her in a different role this time. Another interesting point that we must consider are the characters' 10-year age gap. Although it can be seen as quite a big gap, we're curious to see how this "fantasy" for many young Koreans (and maybe global viewers) plays out!
