The Mnet Asian Music Awards or MAMA has been the long-standing K-pop music awards show since 1999. This year's 2022 MAMA Awards theme is "K-pop World Citizenship" symbolizing that K-pop artistry and fandom are "channeled forces for good guided by a message of shared hope and empowerment." The awards ceremony will be held over two nights at the Osaka Kyocera Dome in Japan. The main show is scheduled to air on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 29 - 30, starting with a red carpet event at 16:00 KST and the awards ceremony at 18:00 on various global platforms including Mnet's official YouTube Channel "Mnet K-pop".
