What will this Thriller be about?
This new Korean thriller film directed by Yeon Sang Ho of Train to Busan and the Hellbound series is dropping on March 21, 2025 only on Netflix! We're excited to bring the details on this upcoming masterpiece with you!
The thriller will follow the lives of a pastor (Ryu Jun Yeol Reply 1988 2015-2016) who believes that he has been given a divine mission to allow him to punish the culprit behind a missing person case, and a detective (Shin Hyun Bin Reborn Rich 2022) who suffers with tormented visions of her deceased sister.
Who are the main stars?
Revelations will showcase the formidable acting skills of Ryu Jun Yeol, known for his roles in Reply 1988, and The 8 Show. In this new thriller, he will portray Min Chan, a pastor who runs a church in a small town. He sets his sights on pursuing a criminal following a divine revelation due to the disappearance of a young churchgoer in his community.
The thriller will also feature Shin Hyun Bin, who has previously starred in Hospital Playlist and Reborn Rich. In Revelations, they will take on the role of detective Yeon Hui, who has been assigned to a missing person case and suspects that something is suspicious between Min Chan and the culprit.

One of the impressive ways which the characters clash is from a hint that the pastor may have been wrong about his initial convictions. He does later realize his error, though it is too late, and as a result he must deal with the consequences of his actions. This is where this new movie definitely has the feel of the directors previous work Train to Busan as we know it is not going to go as well as it may seem!
The teaser promises that Revelations will deliver intense emotional stakes, an element that Sang Ho handled masterfully in Train to Busan.
