This photogenic definition of "art in a cup" café in Seoul is a must-visit! [Super creative Café of the Month]

South Korea's coffee and café culture just got an upgrade! C. Through Café in Mapo-gu, Seoul, is the definition of "art in a cup"! We preview why this special café will help you bring in the holiday season!

This enchanting café is the definition of latte art, where the baristas showcase their array of skills, creating photogenic artworks through white foam and delicious Dutch coffee.

While cream art may be the main draw for customers at C Through Café, this coffee shop also boasts an extensive range of creative baked goods and treats that will keep you going back for more! What I found most amazing was the cartoon characters that were delicately displayed on the latte, and so were many other people, since this coffee shop has gained a strong following of locals and tourists alike.

These rich and sweet drinks are the best on a winter trip to Seoul since the temperatures will hit below freezing towards the end of November. These extra calories and warming treats are a comfort that you should simply not go without.

If you’re planning to visit C. Through Café during your trip to Korea, keep in mind that Barista Lee Kang Bin isn’t at the shop every day. Most of the baristas are skilled in making the standard latte art, but tourists who want something customized should reach out to the café via Instagram in advance for a reservation.

Although the prices can be in the region of 10,000 KRW (7.25 USD) for a coffee, it is money well spent, especially for the time and care that has gone into making these amazing drinks!

What To Order: Cream Art, Scotchino, Hot Chocolate

Address: 37, Noksapyeong-daero 40na-gil, Yongsan-gu, Itaewon-dong, Seoul
