What gifts are typically given?
Well women tend to give gifts, the same as men and many women feel encouraged to make chocolate by themselves, or if it is not possible, then purchasing some fancy chocolate from a high end chocolate shop is also very common.
While Valentine’s Day is unique and fun, it can also be quite nerve-wracking for women. Not only will she have to take the first step and be the one to confess her love.
Couple Rings
In Korea, when you have found and committed to a serious relationship, it is customary to get matching rings to take things to the next level.

Couple rings usually cost less than a wedding ring, and the price range is very broad with the ring costing anywhere from 30,000 KRW (USD 20.00) to as high as 500,000 KRW (USD 340.00) or more depending on your budget! Some couples like to get crafty and make their own rings! It's an inexpensive activity that you can participate in together and a great idea to do during Valentine's Day.
K-dramas can give you some Valentine's Day date ideas!

Korean dramas continue to seek out innovative new stories that capture the audience, despite the language barrier.
