The wait is finally over — Signal is returning with a long-awaited second season! The 2016 thriller captivated audiences with its gripping storyline, intertwining past and present through a mysterious walkie-talkie that allowed detectives from different timelines to communicate.

Known for its intense crime-solving, emotional depth, and masterful storytelling, Signal became one of tvN’s most celebrated dramas. Now, a decade later, the original cast is reuniting for Signal 2, set to premiere in 2026 as part of tvN’s 20th-anniversary lineup!

The first season ended on a haunting note, leaving viewers with more questions than answers. Detective Lee Jae Han (Cho Jin Woong), who had been communicating with profiler Park Hae Young (Lee Je Hoon) through a mysterious walkie-talkie, seemingly disappeared, leaving his fate unknown.

The final episode showed Hae Young receiving one last transmission from Jae-Han, sparking hope that he might still be alive. Meanwhile, Cha Soo Hyun (Kim Hye Soo), who had been searching for Jae Han for years, was left in emotional turmoil.

As Hae Young pieced together the clues, the past and present began to shift, suggesting that time had been altered — but whether for better or worse remained unclear. The drama concluded with an open-ended scene where the walkie-talkie crackled back to life, hinting at more unresolved cases.
