Scheduled to be released later tonight (February 9, 2024), Netflix's new black comedy crime/thriller A Killer Paradox has been quite refreshing to see on our feeds! The reason? Black comedy. As the stars of the show explain, a lot is happening and lots of anti-heroism to be had! This isn't your everyday cop drama, take a look!

Synopsis

If the video above isn't more reason for you to watch, the story is about an ordinary convenience store employee and college student, Lee Tang (Choi Woo Sik Parasite 2019), who gets into a fight with a rude drunk man and accidentally kills him. It turns out that the man he just killed is a serial killer and has been wanted for the past four years. (Peaked your interest yet?) To add more to the story, Lee Tang has the special ability to recognize evil people who deserve to die and takes it upon himself to serve his brand of "justice".

Meanwhile, Detective Jang Nan Gam (Son Suk Ku My Liberation Notes 2022) is assigned to Lee Tang's case and investigates the murder. His instincts take him to believe that the killer is Lee Tang! Take a look at this intense trailer!

Why we're watching

If this trio of excellent leads Son Suk Ku, Choi Woo Sik, and Lee Hee Jun (Badland Hunters 2024) isn't enough to spark interest in you, the story will! We want to see if the serial killer of serial killers will be caught! (Kind of like Dexter vibes if you know what we mean!) We also get to see another side of Son Suk Ku! For sure, he has done cop roles in the past, Big Bet (2022), but we feel that this one will be much different!

Also, the amount of sarcasm between the trailer and the cast is unforgettable and a must-watch altogether! We already know that the on-screen chemistry will be amazing and entertainment-promising! With new characters introduced every episode, A Killer Paradox will surely keep us on the edge of our seats!
