You heard right? Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee's latest Netflix series Gyeongseong Creature comes to life on December 22, 2023 (Part 1)! Part 2 will be released on January 5, 2024. It's set in 1945, in the middle of Spring at the Ongseong Hospital in Gyeongseong (a former name of Seoul). "The suspenseful series follows an entrepreneur and a sleuth as they fight for survival and face a creature born from human greed."

It was directed by Chung Dong Yoon and written by Kang Eun Kyung.
The cast includes other famous faces such as Claudia Kim from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Wi Ha Joon from Squid Game.
A lot of the sources we've read say that in 1945, Seoul or Gyeongseong (as it was referred to then) was at its darkest, this was a time during the Japanese Colonization of Seoul.
The genre of this series is Historical, Mystery, Horror, Thriller, and Action.
