Now, I have been to the drone show twice, since I moved to Korea, and each time has been different and memorable for different reasons. The highly popular drone show attracts thousands of visitors from around the country and world each weekend, and since it's FREE, there is no reason why you should not attend yourself!

For me, the event is impressive, due to the size of the drones and the amount of drones that are used, somewhere in the region of 2,000! As a modern alternative to fireworks, I think that it is really impressive with the creations that can be done with drones. I did attend the 2023-24 New Year's Eve show, and though it was postponed the show the day after was amazing!

Gwangali Beach is also a location that hosts plenty of K-pop events so be sure to check out the Busan City Instagram page often! Last time, we spotted a BTS event, and it was such a memorable one!

When: Every Saturday night, (March - September)

Time: 8 pm & 10 pm

Location: Gwangalli Beach, Busan.

Price: Free.

Duration: Around 10 mins.

Did you catch a glimpse of Gwangalli Beach in the Netflix hit series Squid Game?
