This year's AMAs are set for October 6, 2024, and that date is firmly marked in my calendar. The AMAs are all about the performances from the year's favorite artists, as well as welcoming upcoming artists to the stage. Of course, the awards also give artists recognition for their hard work throughout the year.

2024 will see the AMAs broadcast their 50th year, which is an incredible milestone within the music industry. With the rise in K-pop throughout Western countries, K-pop band Stray Kids has been given a fantastic opportunity to perform at this landmark event. The group will be delivering a special performance honoring the legacy of Boy Bands at the American Music Awards.

Global phenomenon BTS was however the first K-pop band to perform at the AMAs and rightly so, but since the boys are fulfilling their mandatory military service, Stray Kids have their time to shine.

Let's take a look at the boys in action!

Last year, Stray Kids won the "Top K-pop Album" category at the Billboard Music Awards and "Best K-pop" at the MTV Video Music Awards. And this year the boys kicked off their new world tour in Seoul last month. The "dominATE" tour will continue in Singapore on Saturday, followed by Melbourne, Australia, on Oct. 19; Sydney on Oct. 26; and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Nov. 2 which is set to be an event not to be missed!

Other performers that I really cannot wait to see include Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown, and RAYE. This date is marked in my calendar, will it be marked in yours?!
