On June 18, Netflix unveiled its new lineup of "players", contestants battling each other for an extraordinary amount of life-changing cash prize. In addition to the original cast, four new members were introduced in the trailer! Read on to see who it is!
The first season followed the grim desperate father trying to change his life, Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae). The mysterious masked frontman and overseer of the Squid Game, Lee Byung Hun (Our Blues 2022) will also return. Alongside, these two, the undercover police officer who sneaks into the games to find his missing brother, Hwang Jun Ho (Wi Ha Joon Little Women 2022), joins them.
In an epic announcement, like a game show format, four new "players" were announced in dramatic fashion. They included Yim Si Wan (Unlocked 2023), Kang Ha Neul (Curtain Call 2022), Park Sung Hoon The Glory Part 2 2023), and Yang Dong Geun (Cheer Up 2022).
