"Squid Game 2" Final Cast Members Are Revealed! We Break Down Each Player!

Just when we thought Squid Game season 2 couldn't be any better, Netflix drops another bomb on June 29 revealing the final cast members! Let's take a look at each new cast member and which dramas they appeared in!

In an astounding tweet by Netflix which resulted in over 2.8 million views and many more over various social media platforms, fans have been shocked at the final cast members of the global dystopian phenomenon!


Choi Seung Hyun (Big Bang's T.O.P)



We had to get this one out of the way! Fans were surprised (as were we!) that the mega K-pop star was cast! After stepping away from the screen for the last several years (Out of Control 2015 was his last film appearance), T.O.P. is back!


Park Gyu Young

Park Gyu Young has been gracing a lot of Netflix dramas lately! She's currently the lead in the social media star drama Celebrity, which is scheduled to premiere tonight, June 30! Other roles she is known for are It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Sweet Home.


Jo Yu Ri (Iz*One)

Hailing from the K-pop group Iz*One, Jo Yu Ri (or just Yuri), was a surprise for us! Not having much acting experience, she was cast in one of Netflix's series! She made a special appearance on Work Later, Drink Now season 2 in 2022.


Kang Ae Sim



A veteran in the Korean entertainment industry, Kang Ae Sim was seen in numerous dramas including Move to Heaven (2021), Thirty-Nine (2022), and Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022). Although most of her previous roles were voice roles or small appearance roles, this will be her first major role.


David Lee

Best known for his supporting roles in Itaewon Class (2020), Poetry (2010), and The Front Line (2011), David Lee is finally one of the main characters! Through his supporting roles, he has been nominated for "Best New Actor" for his numerous roles. He finished his mandatory military service on April 17, 2023.


Lee Jin Wook

Another actor from the Sweet Home series, Lee Jin Wook was seen as the main lead in many dramas including Voice 2 & 3 (20018/2019) and Welcome to Wedding Hell (2022). He also won the SBS "New Star" award for his role in Alone in Love, Smile Again in 2006).


Roh Jae Won

Appearing in several small roles, Roh Jae Won has appeared in Once Upon a Small Town (2022) and Ditto (2022). Squid Game 2 might be his breakout role! We're excited to see how he portrays his character!


Won Ji An

Won Ji An is best known for her role in If You Wish Upon Me (2022). She is currently the main female lead in the vampire romantic comedy Heartbeat with Ok Taec Yeon. She made her acting debut in the military drama D.P.
