Song Kang & Kim You Jung's new drama "My Demon" is a must-watch! Here's why!

SBS's new fantasy/romantic comedy drama My Demon has us reeling in our seats! 20th Century Girl's Kim You Jung and Sweet Home 2's Song Kang are a match in heaven (or hell)! We give you three reasons why this new drama is a must-watch!

Premiering on November 14, 2023, My Demon airs every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 KST on SBS TV and is available for streaming on Netflix. Focusing on a self-absorbed workaholic CEO heiress, Do Do Hee (Kim You Jung), to one of the top 10 biggest companies in South Korea, Mirae Group, My Demon is a mix of comedy and a plethora of hilarious misconceptions! Do Hee meets a demon, Jung Gu Won (Song Kang), who claims people's souls in exchange for their inner desires through a blind date mix-up. Their initial hatred and irritability towards each other change and the two end up in a romantic relationship. Here are three reasons why My Demon should be at the top of your winter watch list!

1. Every character is self-absorbed and full of themselves

We're a little sad to admit that every character in this drama is self-absorbed and so full of themselves! In a good way! A little glimpse into today's society, each character has their own problems and expects everyone else around them to also sympathize with them. This is what makes this drama so entertaining! The fact that no one else cares except themselves makes this drama so fun to watch and the misconceptions of each character's intentions are stomach-grabbing funny!

2. How can an evil be so good-looking?

Sinister, cold, and lacking manners, Song Kang makes his demonic character, Jung Gu Won, look so cool without, literally, lifting a finger! Not to mention every scene with him is like a commercial for Calvin Klein! Just joking, but not really! Song Kang's charisma is exploding in every scene and we're all for it!

3. The workaholic CEO does have a soft side

Do Do Hee might be the heiress to a conglomerate, but it is refreshing to see that she is human after all. After losing her parents and getting adopted by Mirae Group's current chairwoman, "Madam" Ju Cheon Sook, Do Hee treats her adoptive mother as her own and seriously cares for her. We're all for change and we love to see the emotional development in K-drama characters!

So there you have it! Three reasons why My Demon should be at the top of your winter watchlist! Comment below with your thoughts on this amazing drama!
