With literally thousands of restaurants to choose from in Seoul, there is a competitive business environment, but Han-gong-gan stands out — and for good reason! Here is why you MUST visit Han-gong-gan this February!

So why should I visit Han-gong-gan?

Well, if you are looking for a real hidden gem, not to mention a romantic escape then this restaurant is the place to go!

I am pretty sure that this will be one of, if not the best, Asian fusion gastronomy experiences you will try in Korea. It is a place to escape the crowded main areas of Hongdae, leading visitors to a surprisingly funky adventure inside the cooking laboratory.

Here, you will be able to enjoy a cozy and romantic atmosphere while you sit back and relax and enjoy a variety of dishes such as sea urchin pasta (delicious), the highly recommended oil pasta, and meat pie. (definitely a British and Australian influence here) It is just a friendly reminder that since you are still in Korea, you can pair traditional Koran drinks with your meal, and if you are still hungry, then the dessert menu is also extensive. This is a special restaurant!

Han-gong-gan offers eaters a great vibe as well as showcasing a great design. What really makes this place stand out is the sense of romance that fills the air. Since February is all about romance and spending time with that special person, then there is no better time to visit!

If you are vegetarian, there is the option to have vegetarian food here as well. The veggie Pad Thai and honey garlic tofu are both amazing!

Since the restaurant is run by a couple Jun Min and his wife, the customer service, detailed information, and being able to assist their customers in a more personal way come across well. This is the great thing about supporting and visiting a small business, and the couple's extensive knowledge of the menu and ingredients is one of the reasons why, Han-gong-gan has made it to Dojeon's Restaurant of the Month this February!
