Netflix's new crime-thriller, Karma, will premiere next month, and we are so excited for the powerhouse line up, and interesting plot! Why has this drama got everyone talking? Let's find out!
What we know about the plot
So far we know that this new show is based on the webcomic of the same name by Choi Hee Sun, and the show is set to follow the downfalls of six different people as their lives become fatally entangled.
They include a man who has witnessed a mysterious accident and makes an irreversible deal in a desperate bid, along with a doctor who is haunted by her childhood trauma, but she is forced years later to face the person responsible for it in a plot twist.

Powerhouse of acclaimed actors!
The new crime thriller is full of acclaimed actors, and the star studded line up will feature Park Hae Soo from Squid Game and Shin Min Ah from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. If these two stars are not enough, then you will also be able to see Lee Hee Jun from Bogota: City of the Lost, Lee Kwang Soo from Korea No. 1, and Gong Seung Yeon from Bulgasal: Immortal Souls. This interesting mix of actors is for sure going to make the chemistry between the characters of the show more interesting!
In the intense teaser for Karma, Lee Hee Joon plays a cryptocurrency investor who stakes everything in the hopes of striking it rich. However, when his gamble fails, he finds himself drowning in debt. Kim Sung Kyun’s character is equally desperate for money, and both men seem locked in a battle where each is willing to drag the other down.
Lee Kwang Soo shares a similar emotion of rage as Lee Hee Joon in the teaser. He is a successful doctor of Korean medicine with a lavish lifestyle. However, unforeseen situations force him to take dangerous paths, even attempting to take someone's life. Gong Seung Yeon, his girlfriend, becomes increasingly entangled in his dark and sinister world.
Meanwhile, Park Hae Soo's character is drawn into the complex web of the other characters after witnessing a crime committed by one of them. The teaser shows him looking terrified, suggesting his life is now in grave danger.
