Synopsis
The highly anticipated new drama Hyper Knife is a medical thriller that portrays the battle of wits between Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), a genius doctor who fell from grace, and her mentor Deok Hee (Sul Kyung Gu) who kicked her to the bottom of the pile.
In the K-drama, Park Eun Bin delivers a compelling performance as Jung Se Ok, a shadow doctor who was cast into ruin by her mentor, who she once respected. She is a genius doctor obsessed with the brain, willing to go to any lengths for surgery. However, after having her medical license revoked by her former mentor Choi Deok Hee , she lives as a shadow doctor, but is it as it seems?

The newly released stills capture Jung Se Ok's multifaceted character — ranging from her unwavering focus in surgery, clad in a bloodstained surgical gown, to her piercing gaze that dominates her opponent, and a raw, emotional moment where she breaks down in uncontrollable sobs, she is of course the leading actress of the new drama and fans can certainty see why she was selected for the role, just look at the emotion on her face.

Sol Kyung Gu, who plays Choi Deok Hee, the world's top neurosurgeon and the mentor who expelled Jung Se Ok from the hospital, this drama is set to be one of the best dramas in recent times.

Park mentioned in an interview with Deadline that portraying a neurosurgeon required her to understand medical practices. She noted the challenges of learning about complex medical procedures for the role.
