Ryu Sung Joon (Ok Taec Yeon) is a hot-headed detective driven by his emotions first before thinking. His brother, Ryu Sung Hoon (Ha Seok Jin Crash Landing on You 2019) is the opposite. Cool-headed and precise brother, Sung Hoon is a perfectionist and works as a judge graduating top of his class at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. The two brothers along with an empathetic and righteous-driven social worker, Jo Eun Ki (Jung Eun Ji Work Later, Drink Now 2021), get entangled in a murder case involving a young girl. Jo Eun Ki gets called upon to be a juror for the case while Ryu Sung Joon is the detective that captures the perpetrator. Ryu Sung Hoon is the presiding judge on the case.

As the three navigate the mysterious murder of a young woman, they come to realize that an open and close case is not as simple as it seems as the perpetrator escapes during his transfer to prison. This unravels a string of murders as Sung Joon and his team of detectives chase down each clue to find the true murderer.
