SHINee's Minho is back on the small screen! This time as a security guard at a supermarket. Can he win Son Na Eun's (from the girl group Apink) heart from her current difficult situation with her family? Read on to find out about this wonderful new drama!
Synopsis
Byeon Mi Rae (Son Na Eun Ghost Doctor 2022) is the breadwinner in her family. As the older sister to your younger brother, she takes care of his university tuition as well as helps her single mother with living expenses. Her family's lives are thrown upside down when her estranged father, whom they haven't seen in 11 years, returns as the owner of their villa that they now rent! Even stranger, her father, Byeon Moo Jin (Ji Jin Hee D.P. Season 2 2023), attempts to reconcile with her mother, Guem Ae Yeon (Kim Ji Soo High Class 2021), and even tries to seduce her. Mi Rae is against this idea, but her brother has other plans and supports his father's plan.
Meanwhile, Nam Tae Pyeong (Minho) works as a security guard at the same supermarket as Byeon Mi Rae. He hides his true identity as the son of the owner of the supermarket. Intrigued yet, take a look at the trailer!
Why we're watching
If you love funny, over-the-top romcoms, Romance in the House is for you! Sometimes serious, but more often than not, stomach-grabbing situations lead you to fall over your chair in laughter. Furthermore, if you want to see maturity in Son Na Eun's acting abilities, this drama is for you! We can't stress how well she took on her role and made it her own! We can feel the tug of her emotions, between her mother and the wanting of her estranged father back in her life. Hopefully, we can see more from Son Na Eun! Lastly, Mino does a wonderful job as the "protector" (he's literally the security guard at the store Son Na Eun is working at) and as the "nice guy" does his best to cheer Mi Rae up from her issues.
