MAX PH, a group of aspiring K-pop enthusiasts and passionate dancers hailing from Olongapo City, has been making waves in the K-pop dance scene since their inception on July 20, 2021. Starting with just two members, Maxi Mil Liam and Niphe Kempis, who initially focused on solo covers, the group has steadily grown in both talent and numbers.
Specializing in covering girl groups but also showcasing their versatility with boy group performances, MAX PH embarked on their journey by participating in various competitions to showcase their skills. Their first attempt at a K-pop Static performance in Pampanga, covering Itzy, landed them at rank 18, setting the stage for their future successes.
One of their significant achievements was at the Linkup Production KPop Breakthrough in Makati, where they secured the 14th spot among fierce competitors, marking a milestone in their competitive journey. Their participation in events like Kqueen further solidified their presence, with notable placements in cosplay and cover group categories.
However, it was their dedication to perfecting their piece, "Le Sserafim", over two years that truly set them apart. Debuting the revamped piece at the KCDF 2023 opening act, they continued to refine their performance, culminating in their participation at KPOP DREAMERS 2024.
The KPOP DREAMERS 2024 competition proved to be a defining moment for MAX PH, as they navigated through multiple rounds, eventually securing a spot in the top 4. Their perseverance and hard work paid off when they clinched the title of Grand Champion, marking their first major victory amidst challenges such as financial constraints, detractors, and limited practice sessions.
Despite these obstacles, MAX PH's dedication and talent shone through, earning them recognition and support from fans. Their journey, from humble beginnings to becoming champions, is a testament to their unwavering passion and commitment to their craft.
