Here we are in 2025, and a few days ago, a TikTok video of Lisa went viral. In the clip, she mentions Egypt, speaks directly to Egyptians, and even ends the video with an Arabic word. Naturally, this sparked curiosity among fans and the public!
But why did she mention Egypt?
This question quickly spread among Egyptian fans, haters, and casual viewers in the comments. However, this isn’t the first time Lisa has spoken about Egypt! In fact, she has mentioned it multiple times over the years. But what did she say exactly?
● 2024: Lisa’s Dream Destination? Egypt!
Just four months ago, Lisa was interviewed by Billboard and was asked:
What is your dream place to visit?"

Without hesitation, Lisa replied:
"I wanna go to Egypt."
She then added:
"I wanna see the pyramids. I think it's cool!"
Her fascination with Egyptian history and iconic landmarks remains strong!

During an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore, Lisa was asked about her next adventure:
"What’s an adventure you’d like to embark on next?"

Lisa shared that she values spending time with her family but also wants to explore a country she has never visited before. And out of all the places in the world, she chose Egypt.
"Rather than a big adventure, I would like to travel to a place I’ve never been before with my family after the tour."

"It doesn’t have to be a trip around the world, but I would like to visit a country I’ve never visited before, especially Egypt!"

2020: Lisa Feels a Connection to Egypt?
Lisa’s fascination with Egypt isn’t new. In a 2022 fan meeting, she was asked about a place she has never visited but wants to see someday #PenshoppeAsksLisa , in the minute 20:30 of the interview she spoke about Egypt.
Question: A place you haven’t visited but want to visit someday?
Lisa:
"Ohh, I want to go to Egypt!"
The host followed up:
"Egypt, wow! To see the pyramids?"
Lisa:
"Yeah! I don’t know why, but when I go to museums, the first thing I do is visit the Egyptian section."
Then, she made a surprising statement:
"I feel like, in my previous life, I was Egyptian... who knows?"
Her love for Egypt also came up during a fan meeting, shared on TikTok, where she shared more thoughts about her curiosity:

"You like something mysterious... enigmatic?"
Lisa:
"Yes, I really do. Does aliens have anything to do with the pyramids?"
