Fresh off their disastrous Coachella performance that had the world questioning the authenticity of K-pop music, Le Sserafim just posted a new poster of themselves promoting an alcoholic beverage brand! As you can see, the youngest member Eunchae, is not on the poster because she is still a minor (born in 2006). Just at the height of South Korea's most famous university festivals (from April - May) where many K-pop groups are invited to perform, Le Sserafim has yet to be invited to one. Le Sserafim member Chaewon and legendary K-pop idol-turned-actress Uhm Jung Hwa were previous models for Jim Beam in 2023.
To add more fuel to the fire, Eunchae was pointed out as making "joking" remarks about Korean high school students which might be the cause of why so many university students have speculated as to why Le Sserafim hasn't been invited to any university festivals yet. Although it seems that Eunchae made it seem like a joke, many university students still think that it just adds more fuel to their controversy and take their comments about "focusing on making a new album" as an excuse to shy away from the spotlight.
