From the creator and writer of Hellbound and Train to Busan, Yeon Sang Ho is back with another squeamish mystery/thriller exclusively on Netflix, The Bequeathed! We break down everything you need to know about this highly-anticipated drama and why you need to watch it!



Synopsis


Yeon Seo Ha (Kim Hyun Joo Trolley 2023) inherits her family's gravesite after the death of her late uncle. After returning to his gravesite, she experiences some ill-omened situations. She discovers that she has a half-brother who was not included in the will and seems very suspicious.



Meanwhile, a local detective, Choi Sung Joon (Park Hee Soon Trolley 2023), finds a correlation between recent incidents and the Yeon Seo Ha family gravesite. The two are thrown for a wild ride as Seo ha learns more secrets about her estranged family.

Intense. That's the word for this trailer! Well made and we hope that it will continue to pull on our strings of curiosity as we dive deeper into Yeon Seo Ha's estranged family. We can already tell that this drama is not for the faint of heart.


Partnered with the fact that this star-studded cast is the perfect combination for an award-winning drama, we anticipate that The Bequeathed will be up for all sorts of awards by the end of the year! If you haven't watched Trolley yet, it is definitely worth watching!
