If you LOVE horror movies and are more into staying in than going out on Halloween Night we have the best Korean Horror Movie list for you (ALL available on Netflix!)

We broke it down for you into sections:

Zombies galore

Thrillers with Insane Twists

GHOSTS

Hotties and Ghosts

ZOMBIES GALORE

For those who love a good Zombie fest check out the titles we have for you:

1. #ALIVE (2020)

Stuck in an apartment alone during a zombie apocalypse? Would you go insane? We would! We feel like this one could go in a "Hotties and Zombies" category (if we had that).

The main character is played by Yoo Ah In. Check out the trailer for #ALIVE.

2. Train to Busan (2016)

Once again, this could go in the "Hotties and Zombies" category haha perhaps we should have named it that in the first place. Stuck on a train to Busan with zombies? We got you! You'll probably be able to spot some of your K-Drama favorites in this one. Starring Gong Yoo, Ma Dong Seok and more! Check out the trailer below.

3. All of Us Are Dead (Series, 2022)

If you enjoy binge-watching a series rather than watching movies we recommend All of Us Are Dead! This series is based in a high school and focuses on a group of classmates' plight to survive the deadly zombie attack! What's great about this is that Season 2 has been confirmed for this series! The storyline is touching, however, has some very questionable characters that you will surely loathe. You can read more about it HERE. Check out the trailer below!

THRILLERS WITH INSANE TWISTS

If you prefer thrillers to zombies and ghosts we also got you! What we love about Korean movies is that there is always a really great twist at the end and these will not disappoint!

4. The Call (2020)

For this category we don't want to give away too much otherwise, the twist just won't be as good as we promised so please check out the trailer!

5. Forgotten (2017)

Starring Kang Ha Neul and Kim Mu Yeol. Once again we don't want to give away too much so please check out the trailer!

GHOSTS

Our opinion is that ghost movies carry the horror movie genre. Would you agree? Check out our suggestions for creepy Korean ghost films below!

6. Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018)

This movie is actually based on a real place - the Gonjiam Psychiatric Hospital, Gwangju-si, South Korea. It's supposedly one of the haunted places in South Korea. Feel creeped out yet?

You can read more about it HERE. The attached article includes real pictures of the asylum! Ooooh! This movie stars the very well-known Wi Ha Joon. Check out the trailer for the movie below!

7. The Wailing (2016)

This is a well-known Korean horror film and was quite popular in Korea. It is based in a rural village and its premise is a mysterious stranger arrives in the village and at the same time, many deaths start occurring. Check out the trailer for this crowd favorite below!

HOTTIES AND GHOSTS

If we're being honest, all the films have hotties and ghosts, but this film falls into this particular category for very specific reasons as shown below:

Just kidding, but not really. If you watch it, you'll understand!

8. The Divine Fury (2019)

This is a Korean action-horror film, starring Park Seo Joon and Woo Do Hwan. In this film, we see an MMA fighter, fighting more than he knows in the supernatural realm. Check out the trailer below!

There are many more great Korean horror films but we hope our list will send shivers down your spine on Halloween. Enjoy and comment below to let us know which films you enjoyed!

Happy Halloween! Stay safe out there!
