Jung So Min and Jung Hae In light up the screen in new heartwarming romantic comedy "Love Next Door"! But first, we have questions that need to be answered!

Witty, humorous, and heartwarming, tvN's new romantic comedy Love Next Door is a drama you don't want to miss! But we have a few questions first! Read on to find out what concerns we have about this popular drama!

Synopsis

Intelligent, charming, and handsome, Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In D.P. and D.P. 2 2021/2023) is at the top of his career as an architect gaining awards and popularity in his field. He is the "perfect Korean son" as his mother always brags about his achievements to her friends. Bae Seok Ryu (Jung So Min Alchemy of Souls 2022) is also very successful working in the United States for a large company as a project manager but isn't very happy about her life so she decides to quit her job and break off her engagement.

The two have a secret: both their moms made them bathe together at a public bathhouse when they were 4 years old. Choi Seung Hyo knows Bae Seok Ryu's darkest secrets and this time, they meet again as adults. What could go wrong? Check out this cute teaser!

Premiering on tvN on August 17, 2024, Love Next Door is at the top of South Korea's viewership ratings (according to Nielsen Korea)! But after watching the first two episodes, we have a few questions that you might want answered! Far from reality, but a bit of a "good time" Love Next Door will relieve your stress and bring laughter to your living room! Here are three questions we have that MUST be answered!

1. Jung So Min and Jung Hae In are the couple you love to hate! Right?

This childhood love/hate relationship that turns into more has been overdone many times before, but for some reason, seeing Jung So Min and Jung Hae In is a breath of fresh air! The quirky little interactions often remind us of a brother/sister relationship, but then we remember that this is a romantic comedy so we have to root for them right? Let us know if you're shipping this relationship.

2. Is this another version of "Welcome to Samdal-ri" or "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha"?

It's hard not to draw comparisons to Welcome to Samdal-ri or Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha when a beautiful successful young woman drops everything in her amazing life (maybe not Samdal's life) and returns home with "nothing". Will this end up similar to these previous dramas? We hope that the formula will at least change a little to keep the plot interesting!

3. Will the second female and second male leads have a similar relationship?

Let's not forget that the second female lead, Kim Ji Eun (Longing For You 2023), is a leading star in her own right! Beautiful, smart, and a black belt in taekwondo, her character, Jung Mo Eum accidentally gets involved with Kang Dan Ho (Yun Ji On), a reporter, at a park when she gets an emergency call about a drunken homeless man. We're waiting for this relationship to blossom and give this storyline more depth! Should they focus on this relationship more?

So these are the questions we have so far! Will they be answered? In the comments below, let us know your thoughts about this exciting new series!
