He visits So-young’s home, where he uncovers troubling information: his parents' killer might be back. Bit Na, growing increasingly concerned for Da On, accompanies him to meet a key witness. However, the witness side with Won-joong adds more suspense to the case.

Later, at a dinner with Assemblyman Jung Jae-Gul and others, Bit Na listens uncomfortably as they talk about forgiveness for criminals. Then, she meets Ah Rong, who reveals that Da On is the only survivor of a notorious serial murder case.

Bit Na is shaken by this revelation but refrains from asking Da On about it. During the trial, she disappoints many by ruling in favor of Won Joong. The sight of Da On’s tears clearly affects her, although she tries to keep her emotions hidden.

Won Joong, now free, celebrates while Bit Na prepares to exact her judgment. Da On warns him, but Bit Na’s plan is already in motion. When Da On confronts her, she turns the tables, asking him to reveal the truth about his family's killer.

Things come to a head when Da On throws sulfur powder at Bit Na, neutralizing her powers. He handcuffs her but soon leaves to check on So-young, only to find her dead. The tragedy pushes Da On further down the path of revenge. He returns to Bit Na, asking for her help to take down the man who destroyed his family.

Bit Na, torn between her feelings and her mission, agrees but warns Da On of the consequences. The episode ends with an unexpected moment — Bit Na crying for Da On, showing her growing emotional attachment to him.
