"Jinny's Kitchen 2": Why people were lining the streets for more tasty Korean cuisine!

Korean cuisine is becoming a worldwide phenomenon, and one of the most popular Korean reality shows Jinny's Kitchen showcases the best in Korean dishes to the world. With a new cast and location, Jinny's Kitchen's second season is headed to a very eyebrow-raising location!

For me, coming from the UK, I have to say that I love the difference in how TV shows in Korea are filmed and edited compared to what I am used to seeing in the UK. When I heard about season 2 being released soon (On June 28, 2024, KST) I was super excited!!

Here is one of my favorite clips from season 1!

I think that as the show is humorous and non-offensive and that is why it has become popular with Korean natives and foreigners alike. The playfulness of the show makes it very easy to watch on an evening, which is why it has gained popularity and why it will be returning to our screens for a second season!

If you loved the first season, which was based in the small town of Bacalar, Mexico, you'll love this season's eyebrow-raising location, Iceland! The Jinny's Kitchen crew recently landed in Iceland ahead of season 2 to give the people a taste of gomtang, or Korean beef bone soup!

Let's check out a teaser for season 2 below!

In the latest teaser for the upcoming tvN variety program, the employees of Jinny's Kitchen 2 including Park Seo Joon, Jung Yoo Mi, Choi Woo Sik, and Go Min Si run into one surprise after another. First, the employees are shocked by the cold weather in Iceland. Next, they can't believe their eyes when the people of Iceland are lining up around the block for a taste of Lee Seo Jin's famous(?) gomtang! I mean I would be surprised as well, since the food is very different to what people are used to in Iceland. However, if I would have seen the camera crew, then I would have for sure wondered what was going on, and headed to try the food myself!

Season 2 of Jinny's Kitchen will premiere on June 28, 2024, at 20:40 KST. It is also available for streaming on AMAZON. Will you be tuning in?
