Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, & more are back for more revenge and punishment in "The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection"!

Lies, betrayal, and bloody revenge are back crazier than ever in the second installment of the hit 2023 drama The Escape of the Seven, which tells the revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news. We break down the K-drama series that has everyone talking "crazies" and why it should be at the top of your watch playlist!

Spoilers!

Season one left me with many unanswered questions which I hope get filled in this season. The action and dramatic scenes left me on the edge of my seat for many hours and I was highly entertained. If you remember in season one, a girl disappeared because of lies that were being told by countless people, which resulted in a huge project and crisis.

Now in the second season, The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection will depict the counterattack of those seven people, who returned from hell, against a new evil. This has been promised to be a gripping series that will leave you at the edge of your seats!

In addition to the original cast members of season one, Lee Jung Shin (Sh**ting Stars 2022) will join the cast of this series which is scheduled to air on March 29th, 2024!

The newly released teaser captures the desperate yet powerful collaboration of the seven main characters and a frankly speaking mysterious character who makes an appearance, which leaves us with many questions which I hope will get answered this season!

Season 1 brought on many accolades as Lee Joon (Bloody Heart 2022) and Lee Yoo Bi (Yumi's Cells 2 2022) both won Excellence Awards for both actor and actress in a miniseries and Kim Do Hoon (The Law Cafe 2022) won Best New Actor!

“The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” will air on March 29 at 10 p.m. KST. Let us know in the comments if you will be watching season 2!
