The boys are back! EVNNE who sang of reckless love through their idiom Ride or Die have expanded their own unique image by fully displaying their charming energy which cannot be hidden even in their messy appearance.
In the past, the boys have shown off their free spirits and charm through their debut album Target: Me, and their second mini-album Un:SEEN which both lyrically unraveled their journey toward their new musical creations.
Released on February 10, 2025, this fourth mini album, HOT MESS, interestingly captures EVNNE's unique style of enjoying and savoring joy even when caught up in a confusing situation.

The title of the new song is supposed to refer to the chaotic and messy situations that the boys have found themselves in, both in their professional career and childhood. Though, it also describes someone whose charm becomes more apparent through time.

So what else is on offer?
The album’s other tracks bring even more variety. "Birthday" is a warm, R&B-based pop song about feeling like every day is your birthday when you’re with someone you love. "Love Like That" is a song about the sweet, complicated feelings that emerge when a friendship turns into something more. Written by member Ji Yoon Se, it perfectly captures EVNNE’s honest and straightforward approach to youthful emotions.
Then there’s "CROWN", which is a more heavy and energetic EDM track that sticks in your head thanks to the repeated chant of the word "CROWN". It’s addictive and has a strong, intense vibe. "Youth", written solely by Yoo Seung Eon, carries a powerful message with lyrics like, “Even if things don’t go as planned or we face obstacles, this moment is still part of my youth". It’s all about embracing the ups and downs of growing up and the drive to achieve your dreams. This album really does promise to attract everyone's attention no matter your musical tastes!
