Former K-pop star and blooming actress Bae Suzy is having a busy year! From just finishing Wonderland last year to starting a new Netflix drama, Genie, Make a Wish, she's also starring in a new romance movie this year! Slated to be released in winter 2025, Seven O'clock Breakfast Meeting for the Brokenhearted is based on the 2012 novel 실연당한 사람들을 위한 일곱 시 조찬모임 by Baek Young Ok. It tells the story of heartbroken individuals who attend a 7 am breakfast meeting to discuss their hardships.
Yoon Sa Gang (Suzy) is an airline flight attendant (which we feel fits her perfectly!) who falls in love with a pilot (Yoo Ji Tae) but later on suffers a heartbreaking breakup. To add to the hardship, she also suffers an emotional scar from being separated from her father while she was young.
Lee Ji Hoon (Lee Jin Uk) travels the country as a consulting instructor who had a previous relationship with his college sweetheart, Hyeon Jeong (Keum Sae Rok Iron Family 2024). They were in a long relationship but also suffered a hard breakup.
Through meeting others like themselves, Sa Gang and Ji Hoon find comfort within themselves and with each other as they cope with emotional struggles.
