South Korea's top romantic comedy Miss Night and Day featuring APINK's Jung Eun Ji and Choi Jin Hyuk is on a roll! The drama has continued to be ranked with the most viewership nationwide for three straight weeks! We give you five fun facts about Miss Night and Day's leading man, Choi Jin Hyuk, to show why he has charmed us through the screen!
1. His real name is Kim Tae Ho
His birth name is Kim Tae Ho! He changed his name to Choi Jin Hyuk before the airing of the SBS drama It's Okay, Daddy's Girl in 2010 in which he was cast as the leading role.
2. His career started after winning a reality talent show
Choi Jin Hyuk launched his acting career after winning the grand prize in KBS's reality talent show Survival Star Audition in 2006.
3. Breakout drama
The 2013 romance/action fantasy drama Gu Family Book proved to be Choi Jin Hyuk's breakout role. Also starring the wonderful and talented Suzy, the appearance catapulted his stardom to his next breakout role in the popular drama The Heirs, also the same year.
4. He has an amazing voice!
Not only is Choi Jin Hyuk tall, charming, and handsome on the screen, but he also has an amazing voice! The multi-talented actor/singer was featured in The Heirs OST with "Don't Look Back" and Emergency Couple with "The Scent of Flower".

When asked about his ideal type of woman and dating style, Choi Jin Hyuk told the reporter "like women who have a pure image and cute charm. I would like her to have a personality filled with aegyo. Of course, only in front of me. I don't like skinny girls." He continued casually, "When I start dating, I'm the type that needs to see her every day even for a little bit."
