[Drama Preview] K-drama Draws From American Classic in "Little Women"


Set to release on September 3, 2022, and distributed on tvN and Netflix, Little Women is based on the 1868 novel of the same name by American novelist Louisa May Alcott. With a little bit of a twist for some dramatic effect and you have the makings of another hyped K-drama release! Let's preview this amazing drama!



This exciting new 12-episode series stars Kim Go Eun (Yumi's Cells 2021 - 2022) as Oh In Joo the oldest of three sisters brought up in a poor environment. In Joo realizes that money is the most important thing to protect herself and her family.

Nam Ji Hyun (The Witch's Diner 2021) plays Oh In Kyung, the middle sister, as an enthusiastic reporter at a local news station. Although In Kyung also grew up poor, she believes that money isn't the most important thing in life.


Park Ji Hu (All of Us Are Dead 2021) is Oh In Hye, the youngest of the three sisters. She is a student at a prestigious arts high school and has a knack for painting. She feels the love from her older two sisters is too much.

The three sisters strive to live a normal life but come across 70 billion Korean won ($53.3 million) mysteriously which alters their lives completely.

Little Women will air every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 Korean Standard Time (KST) on tvN and on Netflix in select countries. It will take over the time slot previously held by Alchemy of Souls.
