Wood and Brick offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for a cold, dull winters day! Let's find out why it has made it's way to Dojeon's Café of the Month for January!
Wood and Brick, has a unique blend of East meets West and a vintage atmosphere which allows for a cozy, chilled winters vibe.
For me, I really enjoy being inside on a cold winter's day and people watch from a nice coffee shop window, wondering what people are doing as they go about their daily lives. Wood and Brick was the perfect place to do this, as it offered three levels of seating.
Whether you are after a Western breakfast, snack or perhaps a salad or French bakery item, then this place has it covered! There are tons of French style baked items, Danishes, croissants, twists, and baguettes as well as a few desserts. The coffee (Ice Americano with Honey) was delicious and depending on the time of day that you visit, there is also a wine selection to choose from!
There are vintage photographs placed around the wall of the shop, allowing coffee tasters to admire the photo-taking techniques, and memorizing their past. I like walking into this mini art museum and look at the pictures quietly in this hushed environment. The dim lights on the nine feet ceiling were bright enough to shine on the chestnut colored furniture. Sofa, chairs and tables were all sorrel.
If you love the smell of roasted coffee beans throughout the air, and a coffee in your hand, then this is the place to head!
