SMTOWN Live celebrated their 30 years with unforgettable performances and debuts. We recapped this unforgettable event!
On January 11 and 12, 2025, saw the annual SM Entertainment wide concert SMTOWN Live 2025 celebrate their 30th anniversary.
This event saw some new faces make their debut along with bringing a sense of nostalgia and high energy performances to the stage all under one dome spread over two days. This years concert kicked off with TVXQ's iconic performance of "Rising Sun" along with a total of ninety eight performances in total spanning over the two days!
Over the two days, the event showcased what the future of K-pop will look like for SM Entertainment as well as paying some respect to the past. The show time was the longest during the years, totaling five hours of showtime, live on Weverse and Beyond Live.

Dear Alice
British boy band Dear Alice also took to the stage, following the BBC production of Made in Korea the K-pop experience, towards the end of last year. Take a look at our episode review and recap below!
The UK K-pop group appeared on stage after Aespa, and they greeted the audience with their debut song "Ariana" which is scheduled to be released in February this year. The five member band drew attention with their high quality performances and catchy songs.

End of the show
Drones filled the dome with a soft pink color, and the artists waved a heartfelt gratitude to their fans, while performing the closing song "Hope" From KWANGYA, which fans helped sing, while confetti was falling down. This was an emotional end, as to what could be described as a memorable thirty year show. This event helped all of the artists come together and pay a tribute to the rich history of SM Entertainment as well as making a promise to pave the way for a better 2025.
