Global fashion brand Dior announced on January 16 through an Instagram post that BTS's Jimin is now named their Global Ambassador! The singer was pictured wearing Dior's Summer 2023 beige and dark forest green look from the Artistic Director of Dior's men's collections Kim Jones. Check out the amazing fit pics!
The fashion house decided to partner up with the singer due to his "timeless spirit and singularity of Dior" and his bond with Kim Jones created in 2019. Blackpink's Jisoo was named Dior's Global Ambassador for fashion and beauty in 2021. EXO's Sehun was also invited to Kim Jones' Dior Men's Pre-Fall Collection on December 3, 2022 in Egypt. The recent trend of K-pop idols being named as global ambassadors for fashion brands is becoming more trendy! We're happy that established fashion designers are recognizing Asians can also be fashion forward and popular to a global audience!
