With wealth, fame, a charming husband, and a pretty daughter, Hong Tae Ra (Lee Ji Ah) has it all! Her husband, Pyo Jae Hyun (Lee Sang Yoon One the Woman 2021), is the chairman of the IT company, Hatch, which studies the human brain. He is also a strong candidate for the next presidential election.
Tae Ra's life is flipped upside down one day when she falls off the ladder and hits her head. She has no recollection of who she was in her past life. With the help of her reporter friend, Go Hae Soo (Jang Hee Jin The Red Sleeve 2021), she begins to uncover her mysterious and dark past.

Beauty and brawn.
There's no fighting the fact that Lee Ji Ah is simply beautiful in this drama! Her face doesn't look like it's aged a day since her star role in My Mister in 2018! Although Hong Tae Ra seems like she has it all, her dark past catches up to her when she visits the mysterious Hanwool Mental Hospital with her friend Go Hae Soo. Little did we know that Tae Ra knows how to fight and can kick ass!
Just two episodes in and there are numerous fight scenes! The fight choreography is complex and long, and we can appreciate how much effort these actors have rehearsed in order to make these scenes so watchable!
Mystery and suspense!
Every episode has been a thrill to watch as the layers of the onion (Tae Ra's mysterious past) keeps on unfolding. First, we find out that Tae Ra isn't a normal person since she has been groomed to be a killer ever since she was young. Now, the people from Hanwool Mental Hospital seem to be chasing her and killing her since they failed to do so 15 years ago. With all this going on, we can't forget her boss and older sister, Hong Yu Ra (Han Soo Yeon Kill Heel 2022) forged a contract with the people trying to kill her!
There is so much going on that there is no time to sit back and process what is happening until AFTER the episode! It has been so much fun diving into such a complex plot and story!
A tenacious villain.
As of right now, we see Kim Sun Deok as the leading female villain and director of Hanwool Mental Hospital. She has an army of mercenaries working for her to track down Tae Ra and bring her in. She will stop at nothing until she gets what/who she wants. With her aggressive character, you can be sure that each episode will be a nail-biting, adrenaline-rushing experience!
Pandora: Beneath the Paradise premiered on March 11 and will run until April 30, 2023. You can watch it every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 KST on tvN!
