The US market is difficult to crack. Does the Korean girl group BABYMONSTER have what it takes? We give you all the details you need to know about their debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show!

Who is BABYMONSTER?
The group was formed by the K-pop powerhouse YG Entertainment, whose stable of artists also includes Blackpink, which headlined Coachella in 2023, and 2NE1, superstars from a decade ago who reunited this year.
The seven members of Babymonster – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita – all are in their late teens except for Ruka who is 22. Three members are South Korean, two are Japanese and two are Thai. They sing and rap in Korean, English and Japanese.
What has BABYMONSTER been working on up until now?

BABYMONSTER launched its first world tour in January with two concerts at Seoul's KSPO Dome, on January 25 and 26. The shows quickly went viral as the group's seven members, Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita — delivered impeccable live performances, a common expectation in the K-pop scene where emphasis is often placed on amazing choreography-driven performances.
Why is BABYMONSTER attempting to take on the US?

BABYMONSTER is gearing up for their North American tour, along with their attempt at breaking into the US market. YG has confirmed that their American tour will see the girls take on back to back broadcasting engagements and press events.
The US market is one of, if not the biggest in the word, and if the girls make a successful debut then they will of course lead them to a bigger market and ultimately this will bring a higher income, larger global audience and opportunities outside of Korea.
What shows will BABYMOSTER Appear On?
BABYMONSTER will appear on the U.S. NBC talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show and Good Day New York on FOX5, both broadcast live on the 27th (local time), showcasing a stage performance of "DRIP", one of the double title tracks from its first studio album.
As a group that has leaped to global popularity, BABYMONSTER is set to hold its first formal ceremony on a major U.S. television program. They are also expected to deliver a stunning live performance and leave a lasting impression on local viewers.
