On Saturday July 27, 2024 KST, the YG Entertainment rookie girl group released a video in which they announced that their official fandom name will be “MONSTIEZ”!

“MONSTIEZ” combines the “MONS” from “BABYMONSTER” with the English word “TIES,” emphasizing the close relationship and bond between BABYMONSTER and their fans.
To be honest, I am at this stage not sure what I think of the name, I can understand the reason behind the name and decision, however, it does not seem too original. BTS has "ARMY", Lady Gaga has "Little Monsters" which seem more imaginative, so I hope that "MONSTIEZ" grows on me over time.
