It's official! One of the most popular 2nd generation K-pop girl groups 2NE1 has confirmed they will be returning, as a group, for their 15th anniversary! We give you all the details for this highly-anticipated return!
YG Family posted "Welcome Back", #2NE1 on their official X account on July 22! The announcement came with a poster of the four members as well as official statement via a video entitled "2025 YG PLAN" on their YouTube channel!
In a surprising twist, it was the members of 2NE1 that contacted YG Entertainment founder, Yang Hyun Suk, of their plans to hold a concert commemorating their 15 year anniversary! Yang states in the video, "We had a delightful meeting where we decided to make the concert happen within this year," Yang said, adding that they have booked venues starting in Seoul in early October, followed by Osaka and Tokyo in late November and December."
A concert for memories!
For those of us who grew up listening to 2NE1, this concert will bring back lots of great memories! "2025 YG PLAN" also brought back many of 2NE1's past hits that got us really anticipating their comeback!
